Juice Nutrition Delivers Superior Health

We shouldn't be surprised that fresh fruit and vegetable juice tops the list of beverages capable of delivering us the highest level of nutrition and health-delivering properties. After all, the wide variety of nutrition we can capture from fresh juice is simply the direct extracts, without preservatives of any kind, of the abundant range of nutrients contained in fruits and vegetables. And no other category of food provides us as human beings with so many health-delivering nutrients as fresh fruit and vegetables.

While many of the health benefits from fruit and vegetable consumption has been known for decades and centuries (and all too often ignored by many of us), an amazing range of health benefits are also just beginning to be understood. Choosing wisely which fruit and vegetables we eat can help us prevent, treat or relieve such wide-ranging ailments as kidney disease, pancreatitis, high blood pressure, headaches, arthritis, influenza, dizziness, the common cold, Parkinson's disease, constipation, arthritis, and even cancer. The list is about as long as the number of different ailments that the human body can experience. And for almost every human ailment possible, there's a vegetable or fruit to help prevent, treat or relieve! So abundant, so wide-ranging, so vital are the nutrients fruit and vegetables contain, it truly is a wonder that many of us don't ensure that we're consciously selective of what we eat and consuming more of them.

Freshly-made juice can provide us with many of these nutrients in a very compact form. Admittedly, juicing eliminates much of the fibre of the fruit or vegetable (and we shouldn't underestimate the health benefits of also consuming fibre, which our bodies also need). Yet the vitamins, minerals, phytochemicals and enzymes that juices contain in a highly concentrated form are nutrients that are often almost immediately absorbed by the human body and the body requires little energy to digest them. The result is that we can gain very fast physical and mental improvements to the way we feel while we deliver ourselves more dramatic long-term health gains.

We might think that it can be quite time consuming to go that extra step each day to get the fruit and vegetables out of the fridge or cupboard and cut and slice and juice them. In fact, most juicing only takes a matter of a few minutes. Sure, there's likely to be a bit of washing up and cleaning up to do afterwards but with such major health benefits to be gained, if we're really dedicated to living a healthy life, the few minutes extra we spend in preparing fresh juices is more than rewarded by the juice nutrition that our bodies absorb to make us feel more alive and more energetic.

Which brings us to another benefit of juicing: it's also fun to experiment with juicing various combinations of fruits and vegetables. Such experimentation can reveal to us a whole new world bringing some amazing and unexpected taste sensations from fruits and vegetables we may not previously have dreamed of experiencing in combination, sensations that we cannot actually experience by eating the fruits and vegetables. But the greatest benefit, once again, is the sensation of feeling (and being) marvellously healthy. It changes the body's health and vitality. It changes the energy of our thinking. And those changes in themselves add immensely to the fun we can experience. What could possibly top that?

With just a few minutes each day spent in freshly juicing fruit and vegetables, we can take our own health to brand new levels of experience. If we consistently deliver to our bodies (and our minds) such a wide range of nutrients that fresh juices deliver, we might never look back on our old ways devoid of these natural health-delivering properties.
