High Protein Chocolate Shake



Many youngsters like to buy chocolate milk shakes from fast food joints. Unfortunately, these commercial shakes often contain too many calories. The calories come from sugar, full cream milk, and other ingredients.

So in order to stay healthy, does it mean that all youngsters must stay away from drinking chocolate shakes?

Fortunately, there is a healthy alternative - high protein chocolate shakes. Many teenagers lead active lifestyles. They play sports, go out with friends, go to parties, etc. These activities use up a lot of energy. Also, their bodies are growing.

Therefore, it makes sense to feed the body proteins (instead of junk). Proteins can come from daily meals or supplements. If you enjoy chocolate milk shakes, you can try consuming high protein chocolate shakes instead.

Here is how to make one from the comfort of your own home.

Protein shake recipe - chocolate flavor.

1 glass of soy milk.
1 serving of chocolate whey protein.
2 egg whites.
1 banana.
5 ice cubes.

If you don't have whey protein powder, use cocoa powder or Milo powder instead. Add two more egg whites. So in total, you are using 4 egg whites instead of 2. The 2 additional egg whites are meant to replace the protein powder.

Start by placing the soy milk in the blender together with the ice cubes. Blend the ice until it comes smaller pieces. Then add the other ingredients and blend for about 5 minutes. The longer the time, the smoother the drink. The banana will the shake a nice and smooth texture.
